Enhances legal aid services in Malaysia by providing for matters for the grant of legal aid and public defence services to certain persons, provides for the appointment of the Director General of Legal Aid and other officers in relation to the provision of legal aid services to aided persons, and the appointment of the Chief Public Defender and public defender officers in relation to the provision of public defence services to the aided accused.
